The demand for tech talent is increasing and competition is stiff. Over the weekend I read an article about hiring in the tech sector and apparently Google is reaching out to individuals who may have been rejected for jobs in the past.
And companies like Facebook, Linkedin, Microsoft, IBM are all competing for top college graduates with computer science and engineering degrees. And these same companies are also recruiting from schools all over the country instead of focusing on top tier ones in the Northeast like MIT.
And when we survey our open positions, 75% or more are in the digital arena. Our clients are also seeking top tier candidates with online expertise to help grow departments at media companies and corporate clients.
