Labor Market continues to improve….slow and steady…
Another week of positive indicators – jobless claims fall and economists agree -the labor market is improving. However slow and steady doesn’t win headlines or make big news. Why? Because we need a big splash and more aggressive hiring to combat unemployment and keep pace with the population growth .
But let’s focus on the positives – GM is recalling workers who were laid off and fears of a double-dip recession have ended. Retail sales are also up – consumers are spending again.
All in all – things are looking up and hopefully the good news will continue into 4th Quarter.
