Happy Days Are Here Again…Almost!

By In Uncategorized On December 1, 2010

Employers added 93,000 jobs in November 2010 – more than economists anticipated or expected.  This is the biggest increase since November 2007 and a strong indicator that the economy is turning around.

Most of the positions were added by small businesses and again this is an important factor in lowering the unemployment rate.  In fact companies with less than 50 employees added over 54,000 jobs.

Along with these figures comes the news of a blockbuster weekend for consumer shopping.  Luxury goods are selling at a record rate – Tiffany is showing profits and once again it is considered acceptable to wear furs, jewelry and drive expensive cars.

Shoppers lead to jobs in the service industry and an overall positive feeling that we are seeing and feeling a rebound.
